UKHCA sets minimum fee level to pay workers minimum wage

The UK Homecare Association (UKHCA) has calculated that councils need to be paying a minimum of £15.19 per hour in order to pay domiciliary care workers the National Minimum Wage. Taking into account travel time, national insurance contributions, holiday pay and pensions, UKHCA said this figure is the minimum for care businesses to remain sustainable….
