Scots reshuffle care

Two new public bodies have started overseeing care in Scotland, Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland (SCSWIS) and Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS).The organisations have been created by the Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010 and will coordinate and deliver scrutiny of health and social care, social work and child protection.
