The Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB) has appointed Gerry McLaugghlin as assistant director for Scotland in a newly created role. Mr McLaughlin’s remit will include developing and reviewing policy, planning services and interfacing with the new Scottish Parliament. He joins RNIB from Glasgow city council where he was head of child protection services….
