Reframe Cancer has appointed Professor Ben Kelly as its chief operating officer.
Kelly (pictured) joins the cancer navigation provider from Nuffield Health, where he spent a decade in senior leadership roles. During his time there, he oversaw initiatives focused on data-led decision-making and helped implement care pathways designed to improve both clinical outcomes and operational performance.
A former cardiology clinician, Kelly has held roles across clinical research, data science, and service delivery, and has advised both independent sector providers and government bodies. His recent work has focused on embedding evidence-based approaches to prevention and care in both primary and secondary settings.
Commenting on his new role, Kelly said: ‘I’m incredibly excited to join an organisation with such a strong purpose and focus. The opportunity to improve the quality of life of cancer patients is an honour and is something I am one hundred percent motivated by and committed to. What the cancer nurse specialists and support managers achieve for patients at Reframe is amazing. I aim to do all I can to support these teams and positively contribute to the growth of this incredible organisation whilst keeping the patient front and centre.’
Reframe Cancer CEO Mark Stephenson said the appointment reflected the organisation’s continued growth and ambition. ‘[Kelly’s] experience and clinical data expertise will facilitate Reframe Cancer in supporting even more patients as well as delivering industry leading outcomes,’ he added.
