Reduced growth in NHS volumes and lower prices dampen Spire results

Increasing volumes across all three payor groups helped push Spire Healthcare’s revenues up 3.4% to £ 884.8m in year ended 31 December 2015 but, as anticipated, growth was dampened by reductions in NHS contracting and tariff rates as well as lower PMI revenues.The London Stock Exchange listed company whetted analysts’ appetite for the subdued results…
