People happier in care homes

Official figures have shown that service users are more satisfied in residential care than remaining at home. Despite the push towards domiciliary care by the government and many local authorities, the Health and Social Care Information Service’s (HSCIC) annual Adult Social Care Survey found that 72% of service users were extremely or very satisfied with their residential care.
