OneWelbeck has opened its first dedicated pharmacy in a bid to further integrate services and streamline patient care.
The new on-site pharmacy hub aims to provide a more personalised and convenient approach to medicines management, enabling patients to receive their prescribed medications immediately after consultation.
OneWelbeck said the function of pharmacy is increasingly collaborating with clinical expertise and that the new service would enhance patient care through the integration of consultant insight with services such as medication reviews, health screenings, and prescribing for certain conditions.
The hub features a private consultation room while the pharmacy team is available to address patient queries.
Unlike traditional pharmacies, the hub also collates its stock based on the recommendations of OneWelbeck’s consultants to ensure patients do not experience delays to medication delivery.
