Lansley hits out at unfair report

Andrew Lansley, Secretary of State for health, hit out at the health select committee’s report into NHS reform calling it unfair and out of date’. The health select committee report, which was published late last month, laid out some stiff criticism of the planned reforms. The report warned that hospitals would be forced into short term salami-slicing’ as they scrambled to save £20bn by 2015.
