Government grants £22m to raise dementia diagnosis rates

Twenty one research projects will get a slice of a £22m government grant to boost dementia diagnosis rates and trial ground breaking treatments. The funding was awarded by the National Institute of Health Research and is designed to cover all areas of scientific activity relevant to dementia, including care, causes, prevention and, ultimately, a cure….
