Towergate Employee Benefits has hired Mark Pugh as head of consulting services.
His appointment to the newly created role comes as the company rebrands from Towergate Health & Protection following its acquisition of Benefiz – a move that expanded its capabilities in pensions and benefits technology services.
Pugh (pictured), who was previously head of employee benefits at Verlingue UK, will join Towergate’s leadership team, reporting to Tim Gillingham, director of employee benefits. His responsibilities will include developing the employee benefits proposition further, ensuring successful delivery of services to larger clients, and leading Towergate’s role with the Worldwide Broker Network from 2025.
