Centrum Care Homes completes digital transformation across services

Team at The White House care home

Centrum Care Homes has completed a digital transformation project across its five settings in the South West to help deliver safer, smarter and more personalised care.

Since taking on the role of project and systems coordinator in March 2024, Karen Hill has led the move from paper-based documentation to a digital care model. All five services are operating using a suite of digital platforms, including Person Centred Software for care planning and Camascope for electronic medication management.

‘This transformation has been about far more than introducing new systems – it’s about empowering our teams, improving communication, and enhancing the lives of the people we care for. Digital innovation is helping us future-proof our homes, while delivering real, everyday benefits for our team members and residents,’ Hill said.

The newly embedded digital infrastructure also includes e-learning, rota and team management platforms, a HR system, and an upgraded telephony network – creating an integrated digital backbone.
