Carers bear the brunt of £bns in dementia costs Alzheimer’s Society

Dementia is costing the UK £26bn per year with sufferers and their families shouldering two-thirds of the bill themselves. And this expenditure is set to continue to rise with two million people expected to be diagnosed with the disease by 2051.
