Candesic has promoted Dr Marco Mazevet to engagement manager, just over a year after he joined the healthcare and life sciences strategy consultancy as an associate.
Mazevet (pictured) holds a doctorate in dentistry, a PhD in health economics and policy from King’s College London, and an MBA from INSEAD. Before joining Candesic, he was chief executive of Les Chirurgiens-Dentistes de France (Les CDF), France’s largest medical professional organisation, and vice-chair of the World Dental Federation’s public health committee.
He will continue leading Candesic’s effort in Europe, combining his expertise in managing large scale healthcare professional associations and his scientific work in value-based outcomes. He will also spearhead a global initiative in oral health, advising investors and operators on strategic opportunities in dentistry.
‘Joining Europe’s leading healthcare and pharma consultancy has been an incredible experience,’ he said. ‘Candesic is a natural fit for professionals who combine backgrounds in both healthcare and finance, as our clients specifically seek out this dual expertise.’
Candesic senior partner Marc Kitten said Mazevet was already having a positive impact on the firm’s work. ‘His deep industry knowledge, strong leadership, and infectious energy are already making a difference across our projects,’ he said.
