Bupa strengthens liquidity with new bond issue

Taking advantage of current favourable market conditions to extend its debt maturity, Bupa has sold £650m debt. The international insurer, through its subsidiary Bupa Finance, sold £300m 2027 senior notes at 1.75% or Gilts plus 175 basis points.
