James Wright has agreed to become chairman of Age Concern England and will take over from Dr June Crown CBE in June 2002. Wright was vice chancellor of the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne from 1992 to 2000 and helped to establish the Institute for the Health of the Elderly in Newcastle….
