Pan-European healthcare company Affidea has entered a long-term strategic collaboration with Reset Health for the implementation of Roczen – a doctor-led, digital care model designed to treat and manage obesity and type 2 diabetes.
Roczen combines sustainable lifestyle changes with innovative medical interventions to improve health outcomes. Features include continuous tracking of vital health metrics, personalised treatment plans based on real-time patient data, direct communication between patients and healthcare providers and support for behaviour changes, alongside access to GLP-1 medications for qualifying patients.
The platform will be rolled out across Affidea markets in the coming months, marking a significant step in the expansion of its clinical services to meet the demand for weight and diabetes management solutions.
Affidea Group executive director Dr Charles Niehaus said: ‘At Affidea, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care for our patients, tailored for their individual needs. The Roczen platform we are now implementing for a comprehensive pathway allows us to offer a clinically validated approach to weight management and diabetes care that directly addresses two of the most pressing health issues of our time. By offering personalised, evidence-based interventions, we are empowering our patients to take control of their health and improve their quality of life.’
Reset Health chairman Dr David Wong added: ‘We are excited to partner with Affidea and together be at the forefront of delivering high-quality, clinically-proven weight management and diabetes care across Europe. By providing access to Roczen, our doctor-led care model, we will support people living with obesity and type 2 diabetes to have individualised care that is tailored to their needs. By improving patient experience and engagement, we seek to deliver better outcomes.’
