Adam Broad joins ilarna as chief operating officer

Adam Broad has joined digital healthcare platform ilarna in the role of chief operating officer.

A former operational service delivery director at both King’s College Hospital and Guys & St Thomas’ NHS Trust in London, Broad has experience in delivering operational services in public and private healthcare organisations in the UK. Additionally, he has experience in delivering supply chain operations within manufacturing across electronics and automotive.

‘Most people have experienced or know someone who has faced the challenges of managing care for themselves or a loved one. ilarna is working to improve how care is delivered at home, using leading technology to make the process more seamless and supportive,’ he said.

ilarna is a homecare provider offering care through a matching system and technology-driven solutions. The platform offers real-time health monitoring, predictive analytics and care tools to empower caregivers and healthcare providers with actionable insights.

Its digital platform offers homecare solutions to more than 1,000 individuals and has recruited more than 7,400 carers with access to improved pay, benefits and learning and development resources.

In separate news, ilarna is partnering with online ticketing platform Tickets for Good that enables care staff in the UK to access free and discounted tickets for music, theatre and sports events. The service will be accessed through a custom-built online platform that allows care workers to create an account and sign up for alerts to a range of discounted and free tickets.
